Greetings Earthlings! This is the Room 13 blog. We have made this blog to showcase our work to the world...Our school is in Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand and it has around 320 kids. We are the oldest, so have lots of responsibilities...patrols, librarians, class leaders, monitors, technicians, band....it's so stressful being us!! Keep checking out our blog. We'll have videos, photos and examples of our work. We guarantee this blog will be out of this world.........

Our first day with our blog!

We had a meltdown this morning. First, the data projector wouldn't work. It had a keypad lock. What is a keypad lock? We had to find 2 extension cords to plug in our laptop. Our teacher was loudly asking for help. We were desperate ! Then the computer screen wouldn't come on.  After we fixed everything the power went down and then we couldn't do anything that required us to use electricity - like the computer. We ran, we wrote, we did Maths, we waited. It looked like it wasn't going to be our day. 

Then 2 wonderful things happened - the power came back on and our teacher cornered Mrs Fale in the staffroom and she helped get us all sorted.

So after all this, we still want to learn about blogging. We are learning to consider our audience when writing and think blogging is a good way to achieve it.

    Wow! Thats a lot of bad luck. Thank the power for coming back on. You cornered Mrs Fale?. Then got her to help you? That is VERY sneaky. We, Room 8 didn't even suspect she was fixing your computer!!!!!!!.

    Cool blog!! This is cool now we have a blog because we used to be the only one without a blog! I like this blog and it is awesome. That was very bad luck that the data projector didn't work and the power went off!! I like this blog also because it has a lot of cool things written in it!! At least the power came back on!!!!! I also like the words in the blog like meltdown.

    Sounds like a typical day where electricity and technology is involved! Yay for Mrs Fale. Tell me more about your class. I am going to try and get to see your School Band today. Is anyone in your class a band member? I look forward to reading more about your class stories.

    Hi Room 13,
    I love your blog. I especially like the biscuit diary entries. Its just like a soap opera. Can't wait for the next instalment. Plus, I heard a rumour there could be movies in the making...

    Its been taking me ages to get on to our blog.
    In really liked Ed's and Liam's diary entries even though I had already heard them.
    Yes the rumor is true we are making movies with our biscuits!
